There are many things you can and wear for a healthy skin and some people just have naturally healthy skin. Water helps your skin a lot so if you don’t drink water or enough water maybe if you do your skin will get better.
I use Lubriderm lotion, i would recommend: Skin Nourishing Moisturizing Lotion with Premium Oat Extract.
This nourishing formula, enriched with premium oat extract, helps draw in and retain moisture for healthier skin. And its clean, non-greasy formula moisturizes for 24 hours.
(makes my face feel beautiful.)
Or, if you cant buy this and want to do something at home, here is a recipe:
what you will need:
Ice
white sugar (cane sugar)
Dove regular soap. or (preferably the Dove Cucumber Cool Moisture soap)
steps:
1. wash your face with very hot water. as much as you can handle. this will open your pores.
2. get the soap between your hands with a little bit of water, and scrub it between your hands for a long time. at first, it will get all soapy, but after a while, it will become like paste. if it dries up TOO much and you cant scrub it anymore, put several drops of water and keep scrubbing.
when it is like paste,
3. put around 2 tablespoons of sugar in your hands, mixing it with the soap.
4. now that theres soap and sugar in your hands, scrub your hands together. Note: it will get very sticky. if it gets TOO sticky, put a bit of water and scrub more soap in your hands, scrubbing it with the sugar. stop when it is a sticky paste.
5. apply it on your face, everywhere except your eyelids. again, you will feel it very sticky.
6.when you are done applying it, leave it for about 45 min to 1hr. the paste will dry up and you shouldnt make any big expressions. no smiling, frowning. it will be very dry and your face will be stiff.
7. when the hour passes, fill up the sink with cold water, and put ice in it. enough to make it veryyyy cold.
8. wash your face with the cold water.( cold water helps close your pores)
9. Dry face.
You should automatically notice how soft , clean, and moisturized your face will feel.
water. hydrated skin is happy skin <3
hhhmmmm thats easy:)
wear sunscreen!! hah even in winter harmfull rays damage your face,
a good idea is to get makeup with sunscreen already added,
also pure clean makeup< some makeup can be very bad for your skin,
try useing mineral makeup instead of liquid<
also clean your makeup brushes, if you use a dirty brush, you are just applying all that dirt to your face
also drink plenty of water, so your body and face stay hydraited,
also lightky scrub your face twice a week to remove dead skin celss, dont do it too much thought<
this keeps your skin lookin renewed, and stops skin oils and ect, stay on your face<
never goo to bed wearin makeup >
use lotion on your face before you go to bed, and when you wake up + anyother time your skin is dry,
dont use lotion with frangrances and shimmer and ect<
johnson is a good and cheap brand to try
< many other things you can do< this is a start
plus alot of fresh air
always take of makeup at night no matter how tired you are. drink lots of water to stay hydrated and even if you have oily skin wear a moisturizer at night after cleansing(oil free if you are oily or prone to breakouts) always wear sunscreen under makeup during the day even if the sun isn’t out. if you feel like you look dull with no sun or tan , bronzers work wonders, just don’t over do it!
I definitely recommend Dermalogica products. Or if you’re a teenager, Clean Start by Dermalogica which are designed to fight acne (I use this). Dermalogica products really work well for any type of skin whether it be sensitive, oily, or dry. They also don’t contain any artificial dyes and fragrances, which can irritate skin. You just have to find the right products to use! Both lines have starter kits that you might want to try.
You should also refrain from touching your face, as your hands contain natural oils. Also, keep your hair out of your face, as this can irritate your skin as well. Change your bed sheets every week, because you drool on them when you sleep and whatnot, and I think you get my drift. Try not to scrub your face really hard; be gentle! You should also wear sunscreen that contains at least SPF 15. The brands that I mentioned above both have sunscreens. If you wear makeup, don’t pull on your eyes when putting on eyeliner or whatever, as this can cause you to wrinkle prematurely.
