You actually don’t need to take a supplement for healthy skin. Just make sure you eat healthy overall (lean protein, whole grains, fruits/veggies, low-fat dairy, and enough omega-3 fatty acids, like in flaxseed and salmon). The most important thing for skin, though, is WATER. You must stay hydrated to get healthy, glowing skin. I’ve written about this before on my blog (below), and it comes up a lot: hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Using a mild moisturizer will help too, and keeping your skin clean (including washing off makeup at the end of the day) plays a part. Good luck!

Take a good multivitamin like Centrum, Liquid is best. Also add some herbs to your daily regimen like korean Ginseng, horsetail, red clover, dandelion, nettle, st. john wort. They contain micronutrients not found in vitamins and really vital for health. Also make sure you get enough calcium and magnesium.

An excellent cream/salve for the skin is calendula. It’s a wonderful salve. Make my own of infused oil and add beeswax to make a salve. It’s natural, protects and keeps skin from aging.
