Skincare. Do you REALLY know how to choose effective products for your skin? part 1
This is part 1 of a skin care series I have been working REALLY hard on. If you are watching this, please be sure to watch part 2 and 3 of this vid. There will be more to this project touching on each skin type, concerns, and product recomendations from the drugstore as well as dept, stores/Sephora,Ulta, etc.. I don’t mind reviewing products for my subscribers, but you must understand that if it isn’t something I am familiar w/, I will need time to look up its ingredients. I REALLY hope this is helpful to anyone wanting to know about the world of skincare, how to keep your skin functioning at its best and what to avoid when choosing a product! Now Don’t think because I said that SOME botanicals and essential oils are bad for the skin, that I think Parabans and Sulfates are good. They ARE NOT! Omg I’m so glad to have stumbled onto your video. I’ve seen prt 1 and will finish the rest later tonight. Your sound very knowledgable. I’m in my forties and have been using Dr Perricone products for a year(very retarded on my part!) And now my skin is so dry and and flakey and irritated I want to cry all the time. Before I stopped them it made my skin so red and irritated and inflamed. It is recovering since I discontinued. I never had the problems before. I wonder what u have to say about him.
Thank you for the information on the importance of the container used for product which have anti-oxidants. I wish also manufactor would address the negatives of fragrance & essential oils and propylene glycol in their skin care products.
As a cosmetologist who has worked in skin care for 20 years I saw many of my clients affect by these additives, especially those going thru menapause.

@brandishoogy Me too. My skin has been dehydrated for so long, anytihng I do to it makes it feel like sandpaper. The only thing that helps me soothe my skin are oils like almond and safflower. Im very exited I found this lady, Im quite ignorant in thi ssubject

one of my major gripes…well 2 actually(nope, 3) ARE:
1.Crepiness under the eye and not being able to get concealer to look right (aka..smoother and less cakey)
2. Each cheek has a dark spot so if I try to contour,that part looks muddy & mottled, yuck! Even if I conceal first.
ok #3. DARK circles that also cast shadow…how to tell the difference between shadow and natural dark circles???
