Shannon is a nurse, who works in a doctor’s office, who has red hair, freckles and fair skin prone to sunburn. She, more than most, knows the risks of skin cancer. Yet, she admits she waited years before seeing a doctor for a suspicious and growing patch of skin on her face. Turns out, it was cancer.
