@t0nym0a Not all cod liver oil are same. I have tried many brands of oil, eventually I would go back with either Nordic Naturals or Carlson. They both are the best, in terms of taste and quality.

@lovesparks314 If you look at the label, you will see the liquid has more omega than the pills. I would prefer the liquid, you get more for what you’ve paid for. However, oil has less storage time, I think you have to finish within 3 months. Or if you didn’t like the feeling of tasting oil, then choose the softgels one. Plus I think softgels, are more portable, for example if you want to bring it to work and take fish oil after lunch, than the oil one. So it is your choice, they both are good.

@lovesparks314 The pills are just as effective. I get the bottles of oil only because I’m not good at swallowing pills.
@lilikoilooks If you can, I would suggest you to get the one that have vitamin D3 along with the cod liver oil (same brand, Nordic Natural). So far they have cod liver oil with vitamin D3 in orange and lemon flavor and only cost about $1 more than the one without Vitamin D3.
Would the pills be okay? Or is the oil in the bottles better?
@lauls85 I’ve only tried the lemon flavor and the orange flavor. They tasted just fine. I didn’t realize there was a spiced apple flavor. Definitely sounds interesting. If I taste it I will let you know what I think of it. Thanks for the comment. Take care: )
I have tried a couple flavor of Nordic Naturals. The best one I would say are lemon and orange. The most nasty one is strawberry. Maybe that is just me or it just the one bottle of strawberry I had. It just gross me out. I have to return the whole bottle minus that one teaspoon that was in my gust. Other than that, orange and lemon are pleasurable to take with. Have anyone ever tried the spiced apple flavor? I want to know how it tastes 1st before I even attempt to buy them. Thanks
I like all cod liver oil flavors from Nordic Naturals except strawberry. Strawberry tastes really really nasty. I would say lemon and orange are the best. I haven’t tried spiced apple flavor yet. If anybody have ever tried that, please let me know about how it tastes. If it tastes awful, like the strawberry one, I don’t want to waste money on it and eventually have to throw it away. Thanks
@SweetSweetMiss It is great to use with salads, however, you don’t want to cook with it. Heating the fish oil will detroy the nutritional value of it. You won’t get the same health benefits from it.
