I’m so glad I watched this review. After seeing everyone RAVE about it, I almost bought it the other day, but decided to watch more reviews to see how well it worked with oily skin, and since I’m really oily, I think I’ll skip this for now.
i only need really light coverage, would i have to mix this foundation with a moisturizer? i hate doing that. right now i use the almay nearly naked liquid makeup, and i love it, but it’s too pinky for me. i was hoping that it would be similar, but i’m worried about the coverage…
@sodoki1 ahh! I’m not a cool tone but bear both yellow and pink. It “could” be hrder to find your shade just because I noticed lots of beiges. i know some yellow tones can pull off beiges, though because of the mixture.
i’m an nc25 in mac for ref, and i use punjab in the nars sheer glow. i’ve been wanting to try this particular drugstore foundation. my skin is pretty yellow toned, as i’m asian, so i’m concerned with the color options. does nude 40 have a pink undertone?
good facts, thanks, anyone tested Sally Hansens most recent product line?? it is quite hard to find makeup in Taylor Lake Village but i managed to recieve impressive cosmetics samples through Gratis-Makeup-Samples, there handy!

@SweetLush808 I just find it interesting you took potential flaws of this foundation and ignored the fact that I stated over and over I liked it an recommended it. Reviews should state potential pros AND cons.. whether its a positive review or not.
@SweetLush808 hmm.. I dont think you saw the same review that others are watching. I mentioned over and over multiple times that I recommend it, but I wasn’t sure about oily skin, but said dry, normal, mature and “combination” it will work phenom. Since you’re not in the pure oily category, I don’t think that includes you. As far as application, I’m comparing it to nars sheer glow, which is a 42 dollar foundation, so yes, it doesn’t blend as good as that from my experience.
i love the neutrogena foundation! its not streaky whatsoever!! so idk why ur saying that. i found that it blends very easily for me. and i have combo/oily skin and i dont need to powder my face throughout the day. sorry it didnt work out for u. every other review i saw was positive.

So how does the Nars sheer glow compare to the MAC satinfinish?
It doesn’t match you too well because Nars typically has shades for warmer, more yellow based skin tones. Quite annoying for us cool-toned people. The world seems to be warm-centric :(

does it actually improve your skin? im weening myself away from foundation after first using foundation a yr ago but i like that it says it’ll improve your skin & it’ll look good even after taken off.

Hey girl I’m so glad you did a review on this foundation because I’ve been thinking about buying it but I always consult your reviews first since we have such similar taste in makeup! I have oily skin but I use mac matte cream and mattifying powders, do you think it would look too greasy on me? Also, if I’m an NC 15 in mac, does neutrogena have a shade light enough for me?
Great review. I have very oily skin but have been thinking about giving this and Sheer Glow a try. Now I know to pass on it, especially with summer coming up this stuff will slide right off my skin. I wish cosmetic companies would remember that we don’t all have dry skin. Give Minnie a scritch for me. She’s adorable.

@BalmaholicTV it could be. If it’s too heavy on you since you’re not used to foundation, just add some to your moisturizer and it’ll sheer it out xox

@lovelyangel1983 crazy!! if they make more shades hoepfully you can pick it up. I should have emphasized that their tones are slightly more neutral based so even the pinks aren’t too pink and yellows aren’t too yellow. I see that too often in drugstore and even high end makeup
