More dumpling skin than filling, the fruity papaya made me think that this might fare better during the summer than in the middle of winter. Alas, we can all think tropical when it’s below zero outside.
When I saw this on the menu, I thought, "Huh? For real?", so I had to order it to try. 8 dumplings for .95 is almost a steal. Even though the bowl and portion was ample, the filling was light, so it wasn’t difficult to finish (even after the bowl of soup noodles). This was obviously one of the newer "fun" creations from the kitchen. However, noting how things seem to change up quickly at Omega 3, I doubt others will be able to try it by the time this picture is revealed… why? Every visit I’ve had to the restaurant in the past has been different – not in terms of the clean quality of the tasty food, but the menu always changes. Each time, I find it more and more difficult to order – it just gets more complicated. This time it was a book full of print and too many options. I wish they just went back to the checklist from about a year ago.
