what is wrong with being dark?

You shouldn’t worry about your skin color.

To make it healthy, I would suggest some sugar rubs or salt rubs, any any kind of facial mask that you can do on your arms and stuff or something, or just using lotion if you want :)

Be happy with what you got.

well, your mum is being mean.
whats wrong with being dark?
but always put on sunscreen when you go outside and try to stay out of the sun

hopoe this helps:)

Your Mum should stop telling you you’re way too dark.I be t you’re beautiful. To get healthy soft skin you could try bio oil.Its safe to use on your face but only use it before you go to be at night. Because it’s an oil it makes you face a little greasy. It’s great to use at night though because it stops your face from getting spots or getting too dry while you sleep. It will make your skin healthy and soft.
Your Mum has the problem not you hun x

you should always drink plenty of water everyday, use a gentle moisturizing soap, protect your skin and always use sun block. you can take multivitamins that can make your skin healthy. you need to have a healthy lifestyle to have a healthy skin

As far as your skin colour goes, I think Asian skin tones and healthy tans look lovely. Think of all the people who spend so much of their money on tanning beds so they can have a tan like yours! It is a shame that your mother is making you feel bad about your colour, and that’s something you need to talk to her about.

But as far as having healthy, soft skin, the absolute best thing you can do is protect it from the sun, and drink lots of water – if you cut out soft drinks and just drink water instead, you’ll notice a difference in your skin after about a week.

your mom is a meany face. several women would kill to be tanner. hopefully when you grow older, you will grow out of this insecurity. because i don’t think there is a safe way to make your skin lighter.

To have healthy skin, maintain a healthy diet. Drink lot’s of water and have green tea. Don’t eat as much greasy foods and salty/sugary foods. Fruits & Veggies are a great habit to pick up! As for your skin tone, don’t let your mom fill your head. Which ever skin complexion you’re born with, is the only one that’ll look perfect on you! && Like everyone else is saying, so many people (like myself!) would kill to be tanned like you! Maybe your mom’s jealous… is she tanned? :) There’s no healthy ways to change your skin tone… and no cheap ways either! You’re fine the way you are! (Think of it this way: while other girls are risking themselves in the sun to look tanned and sun-kissed, you don’t have to stress about it & you don’t have to risk your skin and developing aged skin too early…because you’re already dark!)

WOW!! There is nothing wrong with being darker skin. I know your mom may lecture you, similar to my mom lecturing me about my boyfriend being to dark for an Asian person but there is nothing wrong with your skin tone, I assure you.

Our moms have similar point of view but you have to realize it’s more then just a lecture. It’s whats embedded into history about skin color, darker skin is associated with being a lower social class.

We have to be the one who changes the classicism associated with skin tones before we make future generation feel bad/negative about their skin tone. I know changing my mother prejudice view will not likely happen but you can change the way you feel about your skin shade.

I say take the other people advice to getting a healthy skin but I would hope you reconsider lightning your skin because their nothing wrong with your skin tone.

Don’t worry about t what your mums telling you about you being to dark!… Anyone would love to have dark skin like yours… she probably is just jealous and wants skin like yours!

To get skin healthier before you go to bed after your wash wet your face and rub normal white sugar over your face then rise it of and pat dry. This makes skin feel alot softer.

Hope this helps!

you need clean complexion more than fair complexion. These are some simple things that you can do for that…this will help you get that a lighter tone apply the mixture of raw turmeric and cream of milk on the face and wash it after 20 minutes. It will make your skin fair. Or else what you can do is apply gram pulse flour in the morning. It will make even rough skin soft and the colour becomes fair. I think the dermats or skin clinics can give you more lasting solutions…try one like Kaya, they have packages like pigment reducer which will help you get a fair, glowing skin…

As for soft and healthy, I would recommend using a good soap with moisturizer, and also applying moisturizer twice a day. In terms of skin lightening, I don’t think that any such products really exist. Please don’t get suckered into buying skin lightening products that you see online. I can tell you from personal experience that I have tried them all and NOTHING works. These sites try to con you into buying their products by posting a whole bunch of good customer reviews. But the truth is, there are a lot of bad reviews too, they just don’t get posted. A few months ago, I bought Meladerm from Civant because I saw hundreds of excellent reviews online. When I used it and it didn’t work at all, I wrote them a review (not rude or anything, just honest) saying that the product didn’t work for me. I got a reply back saying they were sorry it didn’t work, but that they were not going to post my review! That means they never post any negative reviews, which i’m sure there are a ton of. Please save your time and money and just buy some good makeup!
